Fine Tuning preview: 1/7/24

On the first Fine Tuning of 2024 I'll pay tribute to the legendary jazz pianist and vocalist Les McCann, who died on December 29th at the age of 88. A forefather of the jazz soul genre, McCann is best known for his live version of the song "Compared to What," recorded in 1969 at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
