Celebrating my 30th year in radio!

The Michigan Theater is presenting the Levon Helm Band in concert on Monday, March 19, and part of the festivities that night will be a celebration of my 30th year in radio!  Yes, it's hard for me to believe I've been doin' radio for that long, but it's true.  My first official broadcast happened on Feb. 27 of 1983, when I began co-hosting the Dimension program on WDET-FM in Detroit.  After starting off as a Sunday night volunteer host, I began working fulltime at 'DET in 1990, then became a Monday through Friday host in 1991.  I left WDET in late 2005, and since January of 2006 I've had the pleasure of hosting the morning drive program at Ann Arbor's 107one, WQKL-FM.  I'll be your emcee at the Levon Helm Band show on March 19, so please plan on joining me that evening and we'll party like it's...1983!  Tickets & information available at http://www.michtheater.org/.
