Fine Tuning Preview: 8/28/16

After a week's vacation I'll be back with a brand new Fine Tuning program on Sunday, and in the spotlight will the brilliant new album "Mangy Love," just issued on Anti-/Epitaph by singer-songwriter Cass McCombs (pictured). This impressive collection of evocative, beautiful and unsettling songs is easily one of the best things I have heard so far in 2016! Fine Tuning: 4 - 6 p.m. Sundays on ann arbor's 107one.

Fine Tuning Preview: 8/14/16

This Sunday on Fine Tuning I'll be featuring songs from the soundtrack to "Miss Sharon Jones!," the highly praised new documentary about the powerhouse R&B/soul vocalist (pictured) that's directed by two-time Oscar winner Barbara Kopple.
