Fine Tuning preview: 6/30/13

This Sunday at 4pm on my 107one Fine Tuning program I'll be featuring the new Lloyd Cole album Standards.  I'll also preview the upcoming Concert of Colors in Midtown Detroit along with Wire's July 9th show at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit, the band's first concert in Detroit in 25 (!) years.

This Sunday at 4pm on my 107one Fine Tuning program I'll be featuring selections from jazz guitarist John Scofield's fantastic new album Uberjam Deux.  Also in the mix will be songs from the new Mavis Staples release One True Vine, produced by Wilco's Jeff Tweedy.

This Sunday at 4pm on my 107one Fine Tuning program I’ll be playing lots of music by the legendary Joni Mitchell, who’s making a rare public appearance in Toronto next week as part of the Luminato Arts Festival.  I’ll also be featuring new music by Neko Case, Tedeschi Trucks Band and John Scofield.

U of M grad Darren Criss stopped by my show for an interview yesterday morning in advance of his packed-to-the-rafters Bank of Ann Arbor Sonic Lunch concert at the Michigan Theater.  An extraordinarily gifted actor & musician, Darren was thrilled to be back in Ann Arbor!
