Fine Tuning preview: 2/16/14

This Sunday at 4 pm on Fine Tuning I'll be featuring Suzanne Vega's brilliant new album "Tales From the Realm of the Queen of Pentacles," which comes out next Tuesday.  I have been a big fan of Suzanne's ever since her 1985 self-titled debut, and this latest effort is as good as anything she has done in her career.  Powerful stuff! 

Fine Tuning preview: 2/9/14

This Sunday is the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' first appearance on the Ed Sullivan program, so at 4 pm Sunday on Fine Tuning I'll kick of my really-big-show with the five songs the Fab Four played on that historic day, including 'All My Loving," "Till There Was You," "She Loves You," "I Saw Her Standing There" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand." I'll also be spinning tracks from the new album by singer-songwriter Laura Cantrell, "No Way There From Here."
