Fine Tuning preview: 2/27/22

This Sunday on Fine Tuning I'll be featuring "Time Skiffs," the new album from the always fascinating, always intriguing experimental rock band Animal Collective. Also in the mix will be birthday tributes to Lou Reed of the Velvet Underground and Mark E. This Sunday on Fine Tuning I'll feature "Dreamland," the beautiful new studio album by singer-songwriter Amos Lee. Fine Tuning preview: 2/13/22

At last, the new Spoon album is here! This Sunday on Fine Tuning I will play Spoon's 10th studio album "Lucifer on the Sofa" in its entirety. Rolling Stone magazine calls Spoon the most reliably great American rock band of the last 25 years and I couldn't agree more. Also in the mix on Sunday will be birthday tributes to Smokey Robinson and Tim Buckley, plus I'll have new songs from Arlo Parks, Cat Power and Lucy Dacus. Fine Tuning preview: 2/6/22

This Sunday on Fine Tuning I will be happily devoting most of the show to the music of Anais Mitchell & Bonny Light Horseman! Mitchell is the truly gifted singer-songwriter who wrote the multi-Tony Award winning musical Hadestown. She is also part of the indie-folk supergroup Bonny Light Horseman, whose 2020 album was way up in my top ten list for that year. I'll play songs from Anais' brand new, self-titled album and the Bonny Light Horseman album, plus I'll have an exclusive interview with Anais Mitchell.
