Tomorrow afternoon on Fine Tuning I'll be featuring John Cale's sensational new album "POPtical Illusion," easily one of the best things I've heard so far this year! Also in the mix will be birthday tributes to guitarist Jeff Beck and flute/sax player Chris Wood, who would've both been turning 80 on June 24th. Fine Tuning preview: 6/16/24

This Sunday on Fine Tuning I'll have a big birthday tribute to Ray Davies of the Kinks, who turns 80 on June 21st! In the album spotlight will be Bonny Light Horseman's third release "Keep Me On Your Mind - See You Free," and I'll also pay tribute to French vocalist Francoise Hardy, who died on Tuesday at the age of 80.
