Fine Tuning preview: 11/3/24

This Sunday on Fine Tuning I'll be featuring the new Bryan Ferry box set "Retrospective: Selected Recordings 1973 - 2023," a deep dive into the Roxy Music frontman's solo career. Also in the mix will be a birthday tribute to the late Phil May, lead vocalist of the Pretty Things, who would've been celebrating his 80th birthday on November 9th. To top off the show I'll play several Rolling Stones tracks showcasing Brian Jones on everything from guitar to marimba to recorder to sitar. This founding member of one of the greatest rock bands of all time is the subject of the documentary film "The Stones and Brian Jones," which will screen at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6th at the Chelsea District Library. I'll be on hand to host and discuss the film, which is a must-see for fans of the Stones! Fine Tuning: Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m. on ann arbor's 107one.
