Tonight is opening night at the 45th Ann Arbor Film Festival - I highly recommend that you put down the remote, the iPod, etc., and haul yourself down to the Michigan Theater to see some quality independent cinema this week. I was at the Judges' Dinner last night at Eve Restaurant in Kerrytown last night, and had a fantastic time hanging out with current Festival Director Christen McArdle, former Director Chrisstina Hamilton, Schoolkids' Records owner Steve Bergman, WEMU's Joe Tiboni, and many others.
I'll have the pleasure of introducing Festival screenings at the Michigan this Friday, March 23 at 5:30 and 7pm - hope to see you there!
